Park City Jeep Ride

 

Shane and I decided to take a ride in the jeep up to Park City with Brody. It was nice up there. Here are a few pictures of us next to the ski slopes.

This is me – 7 months pregnant!

Lagoon Day – July 31, 2010

 

Shane and I had a company party at Lagoon on July 31st. It was a lot of fun. I was hot and miserable but the kids had fun!!!

First ride of the day… the bat!! Cheyann is ready to go and excited!

Mom and Kayla said the ride was a lot faster than they thought…

I think Brody and Shane thought the same thing.

Brody was so excited to go on this ride and once he was strapped in he changed his mind… but it was to late.

This ride was so much fun for the kids… and Shane.

Kayla and Cheyann got hit with water in the face.

Shane was posing for a picture and then got hit right in the face with the water! It was so funny…

I cant believe Cheyann went on the rocket with Shane. It was a big ride. She loved it.

Bring on the tears. My boy is growing up.

I cant believe that Brody is already ready for Kindergarten!! We went to register him and look around his new school. He loves it!!

He is so excited to go to big school. He thinks he is cool because he will have 2 schools. Daycare and Kindergarten. He gets to ride the daycare bus to school.

The Kindergarten teacher was doing verbal testings on the kindergarten kids to make sure they were ready for Kindergarten. They asked me to sit in the in the hall. I could hear him talking and I just sat in the chair and bawled. I cant believe how smart he has gotten. He has grown up so fast. Its so hard to believe that my 3 pound 1 ounce baby is now 42 pounds and starting Kindergarten!!

I am excited for him but its very bittersweet. He means so much to me and I want him to do good at everything he does. I just have such a hard time letting him grow up!!

I know this picture isnt very good but its all I could get from the hall of him and the Kindergarten teacher doing the verbal test in the classroom. Ill never forget hearing him tell the teacher the letters of the alphabet and identifying the numbers on the chart. He has all the numbers down except 8. He says eight is circle circle. When the teacher pointed to eight, I saw him in the window glance at me with a smile because I know he wanted to say circle circle. He makes me smile.

We went to the park today and Shane and Brody played football. I love watching the two of them play together.

Swimming Time!

 

Its starting to get HOT!! One good thing about our new place is that it has a pool.

Cheyann was over so Brody, Cheyann and I went down to the pool.

Brody still gets nervous because he doesn’t know how to swim yet but Cheyann helped him around the pool.

 

  

Fourth of July

 

For the Fourth of July Brody and I went to Grantsville to celebrate with my parents. Shane had to stay home and rearrange the storage units since we just moved so we were bummed he wasn’t with us. Brody had fun though.

We went to a parade and then a carnival and then we watched the fireworks from my parents house. Brody won some fish and thought it was so cool!!!

At the carnival, there were lots of rides. Granny went down the huge shark slide with Brody.

Brody sat in line to dunk Cheyann. He had 3 tries… the first one he hit the target but not hard enough. It didn’t dunk her.

So finally he just ran up to the target and pushed it and she got dunked!!

He wanted his face painted… of course he had to have a green star!!

At my parents house we lit fireworks. We got these cool sparklers that were huge. Brody had fun watching them change colors!!

 

We had a great Fourth of July!!
