Where have I been???!!

I feel like I have fallen off the face of the earth. I was so good at updating my blog and things just got so hectic.
We finally moved. Shane, Brody and I are living in Grantsville Utah. Its so pretty and nice and as soon as I get internet out there Ill post some pictures.

We had a great Halloween. Brody was the Hulk because his favorite color is green. We went to a parade at Cheyanns school and Brody was able to walk around with Cheyann and Jacob. It was fun for him. Then we went trick or treating at Aunt Shelly and Uncle Steves. We had a blast. There was a haunted house set up at someones house and so Cheyann, Mady, Brody and I went in it. Half way through Cheyann bawled bloody murder. She was so scared and Brody did good! He wasnt sure what to do. After trick or treating Brody stayed with my mom and dad and Shane, Kayla and I went to a Halloween party with Laurie and Cody Dale. It was so much fun. We played 21 and the Wii!! Were getting one of those suckers for Christmas. It was so much fun. We stayed up till 330 in the morning and went home the next day to get some unpacking done. We had a lot of fun. Thanks Laurie and Cody inviting us!

Anyways - not many pictures to show this time but there are some of Brody and Cheyann and Jacob and then some from work. I dressed up as a football player...

Responsibility Charts...

So, I have a really hard time getting Brody to listen to me lately and so I finally decided before I loose ALL my sanity, I would get him this nifty responsibility chart...



So for this week we are going to work on the following things:
Show Respect
Dont Use Bad Language (yes Brody has started to say some bad words)
Stop Whining
Keep Hands to Yourself
Take a Bath (He loves to take a bath but were going to work on getting out when its time and not splashing water every where and throwing a fit)
Get Ready for Bed
Brush Teeth



Every week we have different options that we can change so he can work on other things also

Brody was sitting at the table telling Kayla about his drawing. It was so cute. He drew Daddy, Mommy, Brody and Cheyann and he told Kayla we all had sad faces because Brody misses Daddy and Daddy misses Brody and Mommy has a sad face because she misses Daddy but Annie has a happy face because she has her Brody... He loves to tell stories. He says, my Daddy loves me but hes in Arizona and hes going to come get me in a little bit...

Im glad that he knows his Daddy loves him...







Tomorrow at work It will be my first day without Dana there training me AND my boss is flying to Vegas for a glass convention so Im solo tomorrow until Wednesday!! Im nervous but at least I can get some things cleaned up and ready.

Brody, Daddy and Jiffy Pop

I forgot to share these. Before we left for Utah Shane and Brody popped popcorn on the stove. It was pretty cute. Brody thought it was pretty neat and since I havent had my camera out for 2 weeks straight, I havent posted anything new for a while.

Preschool

Brody's first day of Preschool was on Tuesday September 23, 2008. What a day. He did so good and I was a nervous wreck. He was so excited to go. He told me that I had to leave and go to work. He wasn't scared at all for me to leave. When I came to pick him up, he was so excited he ran right to me and told me all about his day!

His first day of school lunch:



Dino sandwich, carrots and yogurt covered raisins with some fruit punch. Brody picked out everything he wanted for his lunch





Here is Brody's nap time bear. We went to build a bear and built this bear and dressed him in pj's so he could take a nap with Brody at school and Brody named his bear Shane like his Dad...

Brody's teacher asks us to put together a bunch of pictures of Brody to show to his class so he could tell them who his family is and the things he likes to do. Here is the collage that we did and sent in to his class. We wrote his name in Green because Green is his favorite color :)



His teacher loved his collage and Brody loved telling everyone who was who in the pictures.

Today was his second day of preschool and he loved it when we first got there. I was doing my hair this morning and I look up and Brody is standing there with his lunch box and he says "Mom, Im ready to go" I had to tell him that I had to finish getting ready first. Well, I finally got ready and we were sitting in the car. I was getting my granola bar out to eat for breakfast and Brody says "Just go already Mom"
He was so excited for school. I called at lunch and the teacher said he was doing great and he loved it and was having so much fun. But, when I came to pick him up, he was crying and he was so excited to see me. He just kept saying "I want to go home, I want to see my Dad" So, Im hoping Shane gets here soon. We called and talked to him for a while and he told Brody to go get some M and M's so we did and that cheered him up. Im hoping tomorrow wont be so hard. The teacher said he just had a hard time around nap time and she thought he just wore himself out which could be but I hope it doesnt scare him away from going.

I asked Brody which table he sits at during lunch and he says "The boy table because I dont want to sit with the girls Mom" How funny is that!!

Anyways - enough of my long babbling... Were off to Bed :)

Jerimiahs Triathalon

Sunday morning Shane went to watch Jer compete in his triathalon race that he has been training for for months. I wasnt there but Shane said Jer did a great job!! Shane was so excited to see Jer do this race and maybe next year they can do one together.

Anyways, Jer, I wasnt there to see you but congratulations on finishing the race. I know that it took lots of hard work to train for and compete in the triathalon and it sure is a great accomplishment!!! GOOD JOB!!
