Preschool
Brody's first day of Preschool was on Tuesday September 23, 2008. What a day. He did so good and I was a nervous wreck. He was so excited to go. He told me that I had to leave and go to work. He wasn't scared at all for me to leave. When I came to pick him up, he was so excited he ran right to me and told me all about his day!
He is such a big boy

Here are the little pottys that Brody loves because they are his size
There is a guinea pig there called Oreo and Brody was able to help feed him. He loves Oreo...
Afterwards Brody had to wash his hands
He likes the sinks to because they are his size
Here are some of the things that we had to bring for his cubby
Some slippers in case his socks got wet... he wanted the camo ones so he could be like his dad
His first day of school lunch:
Dino sandwich, carrots and yogurt covered raisins with some fruit punch. Brody picked out everything he wanted for his lunch
Here is Brody's nap time bear. We went to build a bear and built this bear and dressed him in pj's so he could take a nap with Brody at school and Brody named his bear Shane like his Dad...
Here is his bag ready to take everything to school
Brody's teacher asks us to put together a bunch of pictures of Brody to show to his class so he could tell them who his family is and the things he likes to do. Here is the collage that we did and sent in to his class. We wrote his name in Green because Green is his favorite color :)
His teacher loved his collage and Brody loved telling everyone who was who in the pictures.
Today was his second day of preschool and he loved it when we first got there. I was doing my hair this morning and I look up and Brody is standing there with his lunch box and he says "Mom, Im ready to go" I had to tell him that I had to finish getting ready first. Well, I finally got ready and we were sitting in the car. I was getting my granola bar out to eat for breakfast and Brody says "Just go already Mom"
He was so excited for school. I called at lunch and the teacher said he was doing great and he loved it and was having so much fun. But, when I came to pick him up, he was crying and he was so excited to see me. He just kept saying "I want to go home, I want to see my Dad" So, Im hoping Shane gets here soon. We called and talked to him for a while and he told Brody to go get some M and M's so we did and that cheered him up. Im hoping tomorrow wont be so hard. The teacher said he just had a hard time around nap time and she thought he just wore himself out which could be but I hope it doesnt scare him away from going.
I asked Brody which table he sits at during lunch and he says "The boy table because I dont want to sit with the girls Mom" How funny is that!!
Anyways - enough of my long babbling... Were off to Bed :)

Jerimiahs Triathalon
Sunday morning Shane went to watch Jer compete in his triathalon race that he has been training for for months. I wasnt there but Shane said Jer did a great job!! Shane was so excited to see Jer do this race and maybe next year they can do one together.
Anyways, Jer, I wasnt there to see you but congratulations on finishing the race. I know that it took lots of hard work to train for and compete in the triathalon and it sure is a great accomplishment!!! GOOD JOB!!
And now for the pictures... Shane emailed them to me so I want to share them all...

Yes the rumors are true!
Brody and I are moving to Utah. I was offered a job in Utah and we dont want to pass it up so we are going to be leaving - tomorrow!! Shane is going to stay here and finish up his job and then move up there with us and hopefully it wont be long because I wont be able to be away from him for that long!!!
I hope that this is a good move for us and things start to get better!
Last night we went to his parents house to say goodbye. We had dinner and hung out. Jasmine actually started playing with Brody and he thought that was cool.
And here is a picture of Brody and Grandma and Grandpa Ware from last night:
We will be back soon to get Shane so we will have to see everyone when we come back... Wish us luck!!
