Pigs and Dirt Bikes

Mom, Brody and I went to see Aunt Cindy and Jacob today at their house. They have pigs and Brody didnt know what to do. He was scared of them at first but he was able to spray them with water and listen to them grunt at him. He thought it was pretty cool. He fed the horses - kind of. He was nervous with the horses to.

We also went to the park today and watched the kids ride their bikes at the bike park. He wants to go do some tricks so I told him maybe we could go tomorrow morning. We had McDonalds and hung out...



And Daddy, I think we have to get Brody a dirt bike... He was so excited when he sat on this bike but he was nervous we were going to start it

So, today we were sitting out back with everyone eating and Brody comes outside with a cup full of water and says, "Im drinking Beer like my Dad" and he begins to chug the water...
He does this though, he always says he is drinking beer like his Dad but Shane hardly ever drinks. Once in a while he does have some beers but not enough for Brody to think everything he is drinking is Beer. So anyways, I took some goofy pictures to show Shane how he drinks beer like his Dad:

Brody helped grandpa do yard work all day. He shovled and racked and had so much fun. I on the other hand had the worst coding project to do today and it took most of the day to get 1 batch done so I was locked to my laptop all day. When I finally put it down I just took a bunch of pictures of Brody riding his bike, showing me how to smell and how to put a flower in my hair and just being goofy... here they are:
















Brody was wiped out by the end of the day and asking for me to put him to bed... So he fell asleep fast. He misses his Daddy. Well, Im tired. Write more tomorrow.

Helping Grandpa cut flowers

Well, Brody was so excited today. He loved playing and running around. We did some errands this morning and then Brody helped grandpa cut down some dead flowers. He loved helping with the yard work. Ever since I remember Grandpa has always worked on his yard. Even when we were little. So, I really like these pictures because my son gets to help do some of the things we did when we were little.

Well, tomorrow Dad, Mom and Kayla are working. Cheyann is with Cody so its just Brody, Grandma and Grandpa C, Scotty and me. So, I have a lot of work coming tomorrow and Ill be busy coding so Brody will have to hang out with me until I get done and maybe we can go down to the skatepark with his bike.

"Wheres my Dad?"

Well, we finally made it to Utah. I drove the whole way and we got hit with some crazy rain weather but were here. Brody was so excited to see grandma and papa. I have been up with him all night because he is so hyper. Finally got him to fall asleep and its midnight!

Anyways, everytime we go to Utah we stop in Kanab and get a picture of Shane and Brody in front of this tree. Nothing special about this tree and the background isnt that great but its something we started when he was little and something we will keep doing... So - since Shane wasnt with us on this trip to Utah, Brody was solo...











I sent it to Shane to let him know Brody misses him. We will have to get an updated one with the both of them on our way home to Arizona!

Well, Brody and I already miss Shane more than anything! I dont know how we will get through the next couple weeks without seeing him. Hopefully it goes by fast!
I have to get to bed!!

Getting Ready for Utah & Boomers...

So, we are leaving tomorrow morning to go to Utah. Im excited to see everyone but not looking foward to leaving Shane for so long!! Brody is excited to go see Grandma and Papa and of course his Annie!! Everytime we get in the car he asks if we are going to Grandma Christensens house! So, all the bags are packed! I just need to clean the house so we dont leave Shane in a mess before we leave.

Weve been pretty busy the last couple of days getting things ready and I havent really had time to play with my camera at all. I was cleaning up my office and Brody came in with his new "boomer" creation. Brody has this thing of going through the house and "booming" bad guys. He does it all the time and no matter how many times I tell him we dont "boom" people, its still his thing. So, I was playing with my camera and he wanted me to take his picture with his boomer...









Sorry if the pictures look a little off on color, I am using my laptop to edit them which Ive never done before!! Anyways, next post Ill be in Utah taking tons of pictures!! Im pretty excited. I get to meet up with a photographer in Utah, Alicia Jane. She has some awesome pictures so Im excited to meet her. So, as soon as I get settled in when we get to Utah - Ill try to post some pics from our Road Trip :)

A friend of mine I use to work with had this posted on her blog and I thought it was a good way to tell a little bit about myself... So here goes,


10 years ago:
I was 16 and a sophmore in high school. I was working at On the Border everyday after work. I was usually hanging out with my friends or working. I drove a white Hyundai Elantra which I refered to as "the egg" and that was about it!

5 Things on my to-do list today:
-Get ready for Utah
-Finish my cousins wedding video
-Upload my photo software to my laptop so I can edit pictures in Utah
-Code a couple batches before the project is gone :)
-Go get the car tuned up before my long drive

-Cherry Cheesecake
-Chocolate
-Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
-Pineapple and watermelon
-Fried Icecream from Macayos (mmmmm)

What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
-Pay everything off - EVERYTHING- go to Ireland (Shanes dream vacation). Give some to our parents and put the rest in savings so we dont blow it all at once :)

Riding Bikes

Brody likes to go to the park and ride his bike. It was funny because there were a lot of older kids doing tricks at the park and Brody wanted to do exactly what they were doing. He does so good on his bike.
